play trumpet, some play saxophone
some in back stand alone.
are wooden clarinets and shiny flutes
and bassoons with some different toots.
off to the side, roll on snares
they're loud and get strange stares.
are brass trombones with big long slides
ump and pa with long slow glides.
heavy and curved, those great big basses
in a hurry, couldn't go to the races.
but not least, someone leads the band
and stops with only a hand.
unusual collection of instruments and drums
wonderful music that everyone hums.
