I have written a large number of poems about animals, cats, dogs, friends, love, life and nature.  I became an artist when I was fifty years old and I  painted about 450 paintings.  I felt each painting had a story to tell,  so I started to write poetry about the paintings. I now often write a poem first and then do a painting or graphic to illustrate the poetry.
